Our GP Registrars & Medical Students

On a regular basis, we will host GP Registrars at the practice who are fully qualified doctors undergoing training to become a General Practitioner (GP) in the UK. They will have already worked as a hospital doctor for a few years and are now completing a three-year training program in a general practice setting like Hazelmere Medical Centre, under the supervision of our senior GP.

As a dedicated training practice, we host Medical Students during their 3rd and 5th year of training. A medical student at the practice are trainee doctors who are undertaking a clinical placement or rotation in a primary care setting. They will learn by observing experienced GPs, seeing patients alongside them, and gaining experience in various aspects of general practice, including consultations, examinations, and communication with patients and other healthcare professionals.
